Sanyo RP-8700

Sanyo radio in excellent condition and working well. The buttons, switches, tuning indicator, and dial lights all work okay. The tuner is geared for selectable fast or slow tuning speed, and this feature does work okay. The AC power cord is included.  It can also be operated with four D cell batteries. The telescoping antenna extends smoothly, and is not bent, and is approximately 36” long. There’s a place to connect an external antenna for improved shortwave reception. It receives broadcasts on these bands: FM, AM. I checked this radio on AM, FM, and Shortwave, and it works fine as far as I can tell. The case is marked “Sanyo Electric Co. LTD” and “Made in Japan”. There are no cracks in the plastic case, but there are several small rub marks that can be seen in the pictures. There’s a fabric carrying handle on top. It’s approximately 10-1/4” wide x 8-1/2” high.
